Our Staff

Bree is the daughter of the owners, Neil & Darcy Shedden and was brought up on Hadden Farm. Her role is to manage the enquiries, bookings and accounts and, assisted by her father, ensures the overall smooth running of the property. She moved back onto the property 7 years ago and lives in the main house, with her children, Josh & Heidi. Bree is the best contact for any enquiries regarding photoshoots or media enquiries.

Meik has lived and worked on Hadden Farm for over 25 years and has been looking after horses in our care for most of this time. He is responsible for the care of the the horses on Mondays & Tuesdays and every second weekend. Meik knows the property like the back of his hand, and is in charge of the maintenance of the farm and machinery. Meik's wife Trish, has a passion for our Black Angus cattle herd. Meik & Trish live on Hadden Farm with their daughters, Samantha & Nicole.

Nicole is the eldest daughter of Meik & Trish.  She has lived on the farm for most of her life and is our full time horse carer, responsible for feeding and caring of the horses as well as maintenance of the yards and facilities.  Nicole also looks after the placement of the horses together depending on their age, sex and temperament. Nicole is always happy for a chat regarding the care of your horse.

Sami lives on Hadden Farm and previously was the full time carer for the horses. She works casually on the farm whilst also balancing another role. Sam has a keen interest in our Angus beef cattle herd and plenty of experience caring for livestock.

Darin has been working casually at Hadden Farm for over 10 years in the areas of fencing, plumbing and general property care and maintenance. He has been a valued family friend of the owners for over 30 years.
